She has 2.1 million books in print and is quickly becoming one of America’s favorite inspirational novelists.

Some of Kingsbury’s bestselling titles are Remember, Return, One Tuesday Morning, Oceans Apart, and A Thousand Tomorrows. She has been a finalist in the Romance Writers of America’s RITA competition for the best inspirational fiction. Her title A Time to Dance was selected as the first book in the Women of Faith fiction club. In 2004, she was a finalist for an ECPA Gold Medallion and a Retailers Choice Award. Her novel Gideon’s Gift is scheduled to become a major motion picture in Dec. 2005.

Early in her career, Kingsbury wrote true crime fiction, including Deadly Pretender, which was developed into a CBS television movie. Kingsbury started her career in journalism writing for the Los Angeles Times and LA Daily News, primarily on the sports beat.

Kingsbury is very family-oriented as the mother of six children—three adopted simultaneously from Haiti. Her readers feel a part of the family as Kingsbury updates them in every book with the latest news about her husband Donald, their daughter Kelsey and the five boys—Tyler, Sean, Josh, E.J., and Austin.
