Nancy C Anderson
Nancy grew up along the Mississippi River in the quaint little town of Winona, Minnesota, where her father was a professional photographer and her mother owned a Christian Book Store. In 1973-75, she studied at Northwestern Bible College in St. Paul, MN. In 1976, Nancy moved to California to attend Biola University as a Communications/ Journalism major.
Nancy married Ron Anderson in the summer of 1978 and they settled into their tiny California bungalow. Nancy worked for a Christian record company where she was the editor of their company newsletter and worked in the public relations department.
In the 1980's and 90's, Nancy worked for Nordstrom where she was an award winning sales consultant and the commentator/coordinator for many of their fashion shows. Because of her expertise in customer service, she currently takes special assignments for a nationally known company as a "secret shopper." She goes "under-cover" to write evaluations of products and services from various stores and restaurants.
Nancy has been published in dozens of anthologies including Chicken Soup for the Father & Daughter Soul, Focus on the Family's A Special Kind of Love, several of the God's Way series, and The Groovy Chicks' Road Trips to Peace. She is a monthly contributor to the marriage section of Crosswalk.com.
Nancy speaks to women's groups about issues that are important to them. Her husband also joins her to speak to couples' groups. They love to share their marriage testimony and give other couples the tools to predict, prevent, or pardon infidelity.
Nancy, and her husband of 27 years, presently live in Orange County, California with their 19 year-old son, Nick. Timmy Anderson, their infant son, resides in heaven.
Ron and Nancy are active in their home church where they are involved in the drama ministry and the couple's fellowship.
